Since 2004 over 300 young people have been served by WRS’s core programme offering long-term weekly band workshops to develop their music abilities and help support them through their adolescent years – all for free. 

Unfortunately, with major grants being so unpredictable to secure, we are now having to change to a fee-paying model from September 2026.

 

However, we will endeavour to offer the best programme we can within our resources and continue to offer free and subsidized places to those with income pressures.

 

We want to inspire and nurture the talents of all those that come to us and we don’t want to turn anyone away from our lively, creative, inclusive and supportive workshops.
